Think I've managed to disable the constant achievement notifications for accounts which are, mostly, no longer active.

Downside of having other social media (twitter & facebook) connected to my LJ is I've gotta refresh the connection every so often... which I only ever do when i notice stuff isn't being equally transferred the way it's supposed to.

Lot of my community posts made it to my twit just fine, but they didn't show up here like they should have.

About 50% of the time nowadays, my computer looks like this:

...tried logging into Facebook, for more of the same quick distraction time, but it won't let me. Apparently FB is none too fond of Kinko's.

That or the site is just having issues.

When I tried getting into FB it told me it couldn't recognize the device I was on; using Firefox but I tried IE too with the same result. So it had to verify me. Gave ( Read more... )

Got a bucketload of spam from various Russian ads in comments to a number of tweets I've made over the last few years. All told, talking like 20 over all of yesterday.

...LJ suffers another DDoS attack, everything switches to Russian.

Computer at home is having issues. Temerpature related. If it gets below 45°, which is fairly often at this time of year, it reboots. Problem is it generally reboots into safe mode which is just annoying.

For the most part it hasn't done this while I'm actively using it. Maybe once or twice out of every 20 or so times.

Grrr...
